FOOT REFLEXOLOGY MASSAGE -
Mens sana in corpore sano
What is foot reflexology?
With foot reflexology, pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the foot. These points correspond to organs and areas of the body. Treatment is designed to produce a healing response and relieve discomfort.
Reflexology is one of the most popular types of massage. Aside from the beneficial effects of the treatment, the method and its purpose go beyond the skin and muscles.
Difference footreflexology and foot massage
These two treatments may seem similar, but there are some key differences.
Massage therapy involves manipulating tissue to relax muscles, relieve tension, and improve circulation. This can improve overall health and wellbeing.
Reflexology, on the other hand, restores the flow of energy in the body through targeted pressure point massage. Treatment usually focuses on the feet but can also involve the hands and ears.
What are the advantages?
Through repeated pressure and manipulation of nerve endings, reflexology can help clear blocked energy channels. It is designed to get the flow of blood, nutrients and nerve impulses moving. This ultimately improves overall health and balance.
